REFLECTION ON USER TESTING

Through user testing, as a group we have received vital feedback that has aided the development of our final version of our interface. This feedback has pushed us forward into perfecting the flaws we hadn't noticed before. The process of finding a user to test our prototype has easily been the greatest challenge of this semester, as this was our first time we have done something like this. Despite the difficulty, we managed to get a sufficient number of users to test our interface. Through the struggle of finding users and testing our interface, i have gained confidence in doing it again. As for the feedback we received, we have been able to apply most of it, but our time management and the availability of the school facilities worked against us and left us with unfinished work that was necessary in perfecting our interface. All in all i can confidently say that the requirement of user testing has been a great aid in not only this project but in the development of my own self as a designer, by showing me the value of user testing.
